LOCATION

Denia, Alicante

A precise and contained piece emerges, carved with geometric clarity and silent elegance. On the slope of Denia, where the mountain retreats to the sea line, the architecture is positioned firmly and respectfully opening to the Mediterranean.

An architecture that does not dominate the landscape, but inhabits it with sensitivity and balance.

01_Landscape

The north orientation opens the main rooms towards the sea, receiving a constant and diffuse light that envelops the interiors with serenity. The building is organized linearly so that all eyes converge on the sea horizon. In the background, the Montgó frames the scene, providing scale and presence. The garden and the sheet of water act as a natural extension of the landscape, reflecting the sky and absorbing its calm.

02_Object

The house is conceived as a pure and landscape volume, a white figure that is precisely cut out of its surroundings. The composition is ordered by means of full and empty volumes, volumes in flight and slender pillars that generate a light and almost levitating reading. This architectural object does not compete, but observes: its form responds to the desire to inhabit the edge, to look out to sea without losing connection with the land.

03_Skin

A clear skin, in pure white and transparent glass, articulates the exterior envelope. This is complemented by natural stone panels that anchor the volume to the site and provide a denser tectonic reading. The glass allows the house to breathe visually towards the sea, while the white surfaces capture and amplify the diffuse light from the north. Inside, the continuity of materials reinforces a luminous, orderly and timeless atmosphere.
