In this project we renovated an old apartment with a complicated layout, but with wonderful views. The house was completely closed to the landscape and our goal was to open it to the outside so that the owners felt that the Mediterranean and the Montgó were coming through their windows.

01_Landscape
The presence of the sea and a mountain in front of the house conditioned the approach we gave to the renovation. We sought to recreate an environment that was in harmony with the exterior and that, in essence, merged with the landscape to enhance the feeling of spaciousness of the house.

Since this was a renovation, the starting point was already given. However, we overturned the original layout to create two distinct areas -daytime and nighttime- which, although separate, are visually connected. We achieved this union between spaces by separating them through glass doors that help to distinguish each zone, but without interrupting the spatial continuity.

We use natural materials and very neutral colors so that all attention is focused on the landscape and the contrast between exterior and interior is imperceptible.
