Located in the historic heart of Denia, the project is inserted in an urban environment full of memory, where traditional architecture coexists with the vitality of the present. The intervention seeks to establish a respectful dialogue with this context, recovering original elements and enhancing the relationship with the Mediterranean light and the domestic scale of the environment.
The intervention transforms an administrative space into a livable, warm and serene place, designed for temporary relaxation without sacrificing character. The distribution is organized with clarity and efficiency, maximizing the spatial quality through functional solutions and noble materials that generate cozy atmospheres, designed for the contemporary traveler.
Existing materials such as stone walls, which provide texture and authenticity, are recovered and combined with new sober and luminous finishes. Classically inspired hydraulic ceramics run along the floor, adding rhythm and color, while the ceilings with exposed wood beams reinforce the Mediterranean identity of the spaces, creating an envelope that connects past and present.
Its sober and luminous skin, together with a careful interior-exterior relationship, generates a serene refuge where nature and architecture coexist in balance.
