Renovation of a house in the center of Denia conceived as a bright and serene refuge, where the interior design takes center stage. Ceramics, wood and natural light structure a warm and timeless atmosphere. Personal objects define a lively and expressive home. A space designed to enjoy, contemplate and inhabit with its own identity.
A renovation that turns the house into a contemporary refuge where personal taste, noble materials and Mediterranean light coexist in balance.

The house is located in the center of Denia, on a high floor that dialogues with the Mediterranean horizon and urban life. The intervention seeks to take advantage of this position to open the space towards the light, the distant landscape and domestic calm, establishing an elevated refuge in the middle of the city.

The clients, passionate about decoration and interior design, were looking for a house that would not be a simple container, but an active support for their way of living. The project responds with a clear and generous distribution, where the rooms are visually and spatially connected, allowing a continuous reading of the space. The pieces of furniture – including midcentury-inspired chairs and sideboards, blown glass lamps and custom-made wooden shelves – are not accessories, but the protagonists of the domestic scene. Each element has been carefully chosen, creating an environment where the everyday is transformed into an aesthetic experience.

The materials are silent protagonists: handmade ceramic tiles and natural wood build a sober and warm base on which the objects rest. The material honesty and the texture of the finishes reinforce a timeless aesthetic, where the handmade coexists with the carefully chosen.
