This rehabilitation has a unique character, as special as those who live in it. The house becomes a true reflection of the personality of its owners, whose vision transformed the way of understanding architecture in this project. Starting from an enclosed space with a complex distribution, the exceptional views of the Mediterranean inspired the opening of openings that act as frames, framing the landscape as if it were a collection of unique scenes.
A house originally closed to the environment, which gave way to the opening of openings conceived as frames, framing fragments of the landscape and transforming them into scenes to be contemplated.
The presence of the sea in front of the house defined its approach from the beginning. The space flows continuously, enveloped by openings that frame the landscape as if they were snapshots: fragments of the environment turned into carefully composed scenes.
A continuous and dynamic space was conceived, with no boundaries between day and night areas, and without a single door interrupting the visual connection. This sense of fluidity is articulated around a central storage core, around which the rest of the uses gravitate.
Natural materials and neutral tones were used to shape a serene environment, designed to evoke the calm that the owners desired and allow the landscape to become the true protagonist.
